PayPal wanted to Inspire SXSW attendees to become habitual users of the PayPal app. So, we leveraged the natural overlap of tech and music in Austin to engage attendees with special PayPal experiences during SXSW events that would generate brand engagement and app downloads.
Factory 360 staged a takeover of an iconic downtown music venue by mixing Austin’s staple decor with artful interpretations of PayPal’s signature colors and attendees enjoyed one of the week’s most talked about shows featuring MS MR. The campaign delivered significant touch points that promoted the PayPal app, local merchant integration, and wide scale acceptance.
