Launch a six-week NYC pop-up that positions L.L.Bean’s iconic plaids as a new fall staple, featuring weekly celebrations with fall-themed experiences and shopping highlights.


In October 2025, L.L.Bean launched its first store to New York City, giving New Yorkers their first chance to shop the timeless classics of the brand’s iconic products. The pop-up invited guests into the world of L.L.Bean, offering the comfort and sense of home embodied by its signature flannels.

Located in Soho, the pop-up transformed an urban storefront into an iconic L.L.Bean, Maine-inspired atmosphere completed with a cozy lounge area, a phone booth connecting guests directly to L.L.Bean customer service, and a weekly rotating activation bar.



The activation bar featured strategic weekly touchpoints designed to deepen engagement, including custom embroidery, exclusive Wooden Sleepers merchandise, a Scotch bar, and limited-edition product drops. Each week encouraged visitors to personalize their experience and create something uniquely their own.
