The Ask

To celebrate David Bowie’s 75th birthday, we produced a pop up shop that opened 75 days before his 75th birthday simultaneously in London and New York City.

The Experience

The Experience

Factory 360 spearheaded the entire creative development and execution of the two pop up locations. This long term retail experience was a space for old and new fans alike to shop exclusive merch and music while exploring installations that paid tribute to Bowie’s career.

Additional touch points included AR activating trivia plaques, telephone booth audio recordings and magnet lyric walls provided low effort but high payoff engagement opportunities, resulting in a range of added value for fans.

We ensured fan engagement by weaving in multiple interactive touch points throughout each of the spaces, both analog and digital. From an animated ‘Messages to Bowie’ station where guests could send a memory to Bowie in the stars, to a series of album inspired mirror selfie portals, moments of exploration surrounded the retail experience.
