Execution

Since being awarded PayPal Here, Factory 360 has expanded its services to several departments and products within eBay and PayPal including, but not limited to: Event Strategy and Production (Telluride Film Festival, Outside Lands and Le Web Paris); Creative Production (POS), Merchandising Retail; and Partner Programs (Uber, Jamba Juice, AT&T, Target and TigerDirect).

Uber partnered with PayPal to implement the new payment option in November 2013. Factory 360 was tapped to develop plans to support the partnership, drive awareness and increase usage of the Uber app via PayPal payments.

The initial programming included press outreach at Le Web Paris, in which the CEOs of Uber and PayPal attended and participated.

Uber and PayPal’s “Meet the Speakers, Mobile Office Hours” program offered Le Web Paris attendees the unique opportunity to share a ride with Le Web speakers. The rides – which lasted up to 30 minutes – presented attendees the chance to chat with speakers, ask questions and connect in productive ways.

Social Integration: The rides were captured on video for social channel funneling, and attendees were encouraged to tweet using a special hashtag to win prizes.

Results

Acquired 50,000+ new PayPal consumer app users, drove $5M in TPV and garnered over 2 million Facebook impressions via FactorySnap
