With festival season coming to a close, it is time to start planning out your next year of events and festivals. Start saving your money, because you won’t want to miss the events that are scheduled for 2015. Get your tickets early and start planning and you will be sure to have an eventful Summer 2015.
Hangout Fest – Gulf Shores, Alabama
May 15—17 (Expected)
Set in Gulf Shores, Alabama, Hangout Fest is exactly as the name suggests. Thousands of concert goers enjoying great music, weather, and vibes on a beach in the Gulf of Mexico. Soak up the sun and hangout while you enjoy great music with great people at an amazing event. 2014’s lineup featured The Black Keys, The Killers, Jack Johnson, Pretty Lights, and Wiz Khalifa.
Sasquatch! Music Festival – Gorge Amphitheatre in George, Washington
May 22—24 (Expected)
Sasquatch is set in the middle of the mountains at a natural amphitheater 150 miles outside of Seattle. Your drive in will be scenic; snow-capped mountains, pine forests, and miles of flat plains will lead you to a beautiful plateau high above the Columbia River. This is one event you must attend in your lifetime. 2014’s lineup featured Major Lazer, Cut Copy, Kid Cudi, Outkast, and M.I.A.
Mysteryland USA – Bethel Woods Center for the Arts – Bethel, NY
May 22—24 (Expected)
Mysteryland is a roaming international electronic music festival that is over 20 years old. 2014 was Mysteryland’s first year in the United States and it was a huge success. Set on the site of the original 1969 Woodstock Festival, there is nothing but history and good vibes at this event. Just like Woodstock, you get music with theater, movies, interactive art installations, street performers, and “spectacular shows at bizarre decorated stages”. Mysteryland events are known to get wild and you definitely won’t be disappointed that you bought tickets. 2014’s lineup featured Steve Aoki, Nicky Romero, Fedde Le Grand, Moby, Dillon Francis, and Flosstradamus.
Bonnaroo – Manchester, Tennessee
June 11—14 (Expected)
Set on a 700 acre farm in Manchester, TN, Bonnaroo is this generations Woodstock. In a few short years, Bonnaroo has exploded and become one of the biggest and best music festivals and events on the planet. The campgrounds are an event in themselves, with people playing games, jamming out, and cooking, all out of the comfort of their tents. 2014’s lineup featured Elton John, Kanye West, Phoenix, Lionel Richie, Frank Ocean, Skrillex, and Arctic Monkeys.
Electric Forest Festival – Double JJ Resort – Rothbury, Michigan
June 25—28 (Expected)
Electric Forest is a mixture of electronic music and jam bands set in the middle of a forest. The forest comes alive, decorated with lights and reflectors, it is truly one of the most visually aesthetic events in the world. 2014’s lineup featured Lauryn Hill, Zedd, Moby, Stephen Marley, and ScHoolboy Q.
