Factory 360 is seeking a design intern for the Spring of 2023 to join the creative team on a variety of fun projects. This role is based in an NYC office starting in May.
Participation in project kick-off meetings, design review sessions, creative brainstorms, and production meetings
Help the lead designer develop detailed design concepts and generate a fleshed out plan for each project through 3D modeling and rendering, material sampling, and design research
Design and develop 2D graphic elements within the event environment and prep for print production
Work closely with the full project team to help develop preliminary environmental floor plans using sketchup
Researching décor materials (including the procurement of pricing, lead times and samples)
Creating and maintaining creative project binders for event installs
Ideating on creative field trips for the design team
Help lead designer oversee the execution of the design plan during installation and make necessary creative decisions to maintain high-quality standards
Have a working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, specifically Illustrator, InDesign & Photoshop, Knowledge of Sketch is a plus
Experience in 3D rendering – SketchUp & Vray - or ready to learn..
Be working towards or has a degree in Industrial Design, Exhibition design, Graphic Design, Scenic Design, Architecture, Interior Design or related field
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to remain calm and positive in a fast-paced environment
